The software listed on this site is evaluated based on one or more of the
following criteria:
- It must not contain any malware or transmit personal identifiable
information.
- It may contain advertisement, but it must be unintrusive and only
display in the program interface.
- It must be bug-free, at least under normal operation.
- It must do something useful rather than just to promote other
non-freeware products.
- It must be of high usability and high visibility.
- It must not be a copycat of another program.
- It is popular and widely used and recommended.
- Most importantly it does not cause any problems to the computer and does
not break anything.
- For shareware/trialware, it must be of extremely high quality and useful
for it to be listed here.
- Freeware is preferred over shareware/trialware. This site list mostly
freeware.
